Emma (she/her) is the Development Executive Assistant. In this role she supports the development team in strengthening relationships and building resources to advance the Ella Baker Center’s work. Originally from Altadena, CA, Emma brings a background in food, beverage, hospitality, and events, along with experience in operations management. She is passionate about creating supportive systems that foster community and collective care. Her love for connection and curiosity has shaped her path, leading her toward work that uplifts racial and economic justice. Outside of EBC, Emma finds joy in the outdoors and is especially passionate about diversifying access to outdoor spaces. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring the world of natural wine.
