Night Out for Safety and Liberation (NOSL) was founded in 2013 as an alternative to the more police-centric National Night Out, which highlights police-community partnerships as the pathway to community safety. Last year, we held dozens of virtual events across the nation as well as some in-person mutual aid events. This year we are excited to be able to host in-person events with you again! From block parties to rallies, Night Out for Safety and Liberation is an opportunity for communities to come together for conversations about public safety. It is a space where we can reimagine what #SafetyIs.
