Lovisa Brown

Lovisa Brown has over 20 years experience working in educational programs in a variety of non-profit organizations. As the Education Manager of the International Museum of Women she established their first online curriculum, developed a Summer Outreach program, and tripled the museums volunteer base developing a strong educational internship program. She is a speaker/trainer addressing the intersections of social justice and visual arts, as well as an educational consultant with many Bay Area cultural institutions including CAMFED: Campaign for Female Education, where she developed economic curricula connecting girls in Kenya and San Francisco, and MoAD’s first exhibition Made in Africa. In Santiago Chile she developed a life skills program for teen girls using films and was the Senior Director of Education at the Museum of African Diaspora (MOAD).
