Lina Eid is the Development Specialist at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. She works to enhance productivity and maximize the Ella Baker Center’s impact through development and financial reconciliation. Originally from Palestine, she received her Global Affairs Bachelor’s Degree from George Mason University with a concentration in the Middle East and North Africa. Her passion to contribute to an organization that fights the mass incarceration epidemic stems from the parallel that she recognizes between the criminalization of communities of color in America and Palestinians in Occupied Territories.
In her spare time, she loves to hike, travel with friends, go to the beach, relish her Lorelai Gilmore-like coffee addiction, and try keeping her plants alive.
