PODCAST | 106KMEL Silence the Violence Day Morning Show


As part of the 2007 Silence the Violence Day commemorations, 106 KMEL, the Bay Area's premier hiphop station, aired a special Silence the Violence Day morning show. At 9:00am they silenced the music and KMEL's morning DJ Chuy Gomez spoke with Nicole Lee of the Ella Baker Center and Rudy Corpus of United Playaz. They spoke out about the root causes of violence in our communities and called on everyone to do their part to silence the violence.
