At a press conference on Wednesday, February 21, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi endorsed Reclaim the Future's call for a "Clean Energy Jobs Bill." She then invited Executive Director Van Jones to elaborate at the podium.
It was a thrilling moment for the entire Reclaim the Future team. The Speaker's vision and leadership have been a revelation. She is opening a space that will hopefully lead to a bill that helps create green pathways out of poverty. We are working hand-in-hand with the Apollo Alliance now to craft such a bill.
