Current opportunities include:

Volunteers create and review content for our blog and engage in promotion and outreach for Ella's Voice. 
 
Help keep the runners at the Oakland Running Festival hydrated at the Team Ella Baker Center water station.

Last year our amazing volunteers

  • Helped with service projects including community gardens, book projects and voter mobilization,
  • Raised awareness of our organization by tabling and doing community outreach,
  • Joined us in Sacramento to advocate for schools and jobs,
  • Brought success to our bigger events including Throw Down for the Town: The Oakland Service Festival and The Ella Awards, and
  • Collected surveys on how the youth prisons and Juvenile Halls negatively effect youth and their families.
