With Action comes Movement
Last week the University of California regents proposed another 16% tuition increase, over 4 years, in preparation for anticipated state funding cuts. As September comes to a close, I cannot help but reflect on my career as UC student.

The Free Speech movement began at UC Berkeley today on October 1, 1964. This was when students came together to insist that the ban of on-campus political activities was lifted and that the university would acknowledge the students' right to free speech and academic freedom.
