On May 10th, hundreds of teachers, parents and students traveled to Sacramento for the State of Emergency Day of Action. Books Not Bars members were a large part of the day's events.

Teachers or Prison Guards?

I'm not opposed to unions advocating on behalf of their members, whether those members work in the private or public sector. Everyone should have the right to collectively bargain for better working conditions, more security and fair compensation.
