Last week, our country re-elected a President who has been an outspoken supporter of DREAM activists, LGBTQ people and families, and the green economy. Yet, the United States clearly has a long way to go before human rights, liberty and justice are a reality for all. While our media pays a lot of attention to international issues of human rights, what does it mean to bring the discussion home?
