That's How the Town Throws Down!
Wow! No other word can better express our feelings about the second annual Throw Down for the Town: The Oakland Service Festival.
More than 500 volunteers threw down at projects across Oakland in the morning helping our Town thrive by gardening, picking up litter, creating art, doing community outreach, and feeding hungry folks. In the afternoon, hundreds enjoyed entertainment, food and community during our festival in Snow Park.
