Special shout out to SomaR Bar for hosting Party for a Purpose on Wednesday and shout out to all the people who came out. The Soul of the City Campaign believes that community building and grassroots fundraising are essential pieces of sustainable activism. And it was fun to see some Oaklanders come together and get down to help out the Ella Baker Center.
