Hayes on the Far Left looking intense because his love for the 99% is intense.

Last week, our boy Hayes Morehouse joined the Californians for a Fair Settlement coalition and co-signed a letter to Attorney General Kamala Harris, basically letting her know that we support her as long as she kept fighting for Californians abused by the Big Banks.

Get this, one of her senior staff members, Shum Preston, came down to meet with the delegation, which featured representatives from the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, the Ella Baker Center (our boy Hayes!), and Causa Justa :: Just Cause. (See the photo on the right and the full gallery here.)  The Fair Settlement Collation is urging the Attorney General to properly investigate, assess damages, prosecute where appropriate, and then reach a fair settlement for Californians.

The Ella Baker Center has long been fighting for the economic justice through organizing, advocacy, and policy work both in the streets and in the halls. We are a proud member organization of Californians for a Fair Settlement coalition.

The Courage Campaign is taking lead and  is continuing to strategize with allies and -as they put  in their email- “decide how best to keep up the pressure and make the Big Banks pay for their crimes. Justice in America can't have separate rules for the 1%.”
