Thanks Oakland, Throw Down for the Town Was Amazing

I'm sorry but if you weren't a part of Throw Down for the Town: The Oakland Service Festival last weekend, you really missed out. I mean you really missed out (kind of like throwing away a winning lottery ticket).

What I thought would just be a fun day in the sun volunteering and hanging out at Mosswood Park ended up being a freight train of inspiration. Over 300 people volunteered at 25 service projects throughout Oakland. This event was about our city coming together to help Oakland thrive. But don't take my word for it, check out the photos below and make sure to join us next year.
